Donald Trump - The Lighter Side Of History
Donald Trump - The Lighter Side Of HistoryMore than a hundred years ago, Donald Trump had an idea. He wanted to study the effects of an Eisley experiment in Nevada. He visited the University of Nevada on the idea of the Eisley Experiment and the idea became the basis for a research paper that later became one of the most famous papers in history.Donald wrote: 'Transistors are well understood and their application in electronics is well established, but the processes that increase their power is not well understood.' The world of physics has much to learn from technology and computers. Computers are at the core of all modern day technology and yet are often ignored by physicists, especially as they move into the area of quantum mechanics. Donald developed his plan to study the behavior of transistors when he encountered some problems in working with tiny crystals.Donald was originally going to use crystals with transistors as well. The crystals would be placed on a base plate and then made to change state from a solid to a liquid state. In this case, Donald wrote: 'We were unable to find a suitable crystal which could be used as a basis for the crystals and transistors to be used. There are, however, several different crystal materials which can be used for this purpose.' He asked his mentor, Edwin Hubble, to help him in developing a theoretical model that would explain how these crystals worked. While Donald was examining the properties of the crystals, he decided to break them apart and study their constituent parts. He noticed that crystals were actually made up of hexagonal honeycombs and atoms. Donald was then able to discover that different atoms could cause different hexagonal honeycombs to fold. These folded honeycombs then acted as the components of transistors. He went on to explain that the transistor could be designed to transfer energy from one atom to another. The transistors involved a modification of this idea and Donald also studied the effect of various combinations of atoms.Donald was pleased with the results of his experiments and published his research paper in a journal. It was then published by the RCA Corporation. Since that time, this has become the basis for the transistor. Donald also changed the name of the transistor to silicon because it looked better. It was Donald who thought of the name 'transistor' for this invention. This means that one of Donald's grand visions finally came true. While he cannot make an impact in mainstream society the way Albert Einstein or Nikola Tesla did, Donald is doing what he believes he was created to do.
